New Footing For Shenandoah Classic
Friday, May 30, 2025
R.H. Bennett announced that new footing will be used for the upcoming Shenandoah Classic, held June 17-21 at the Virginia Horse Center, Lexington, Virginia. Kristen Cater, Steve Crabtree and Kim Crumpler will judge the 2025 event.
“We listened to our exhibitors and this year will be adding shavings to the track in Waldron Arena,” said Bennett. “We are thrilled that we worked this out with the facility.”
The Virginia Horse Center is a world-class facility with over 600 acres, nine show rings, eight schooling rings and eight barns with 10 x 12 stalls. Back again this year for the Shenandoah Classic is the Trainer’s Purse for every class, incentives for the barn that competes the most in each session and the overall show, plus cash prizes at the Exhibitor’s Party, which is second to none with dinner and dancing all under the stars at the Janet Sterba Memorial Park on the grounds.
Entries are being accepted until June 2. Contact R.H. Bennett at (502) 664-0870.
